Loved it! I got the email from Mina saying it was released and rushed to Amazon to buy it before I noticed the ARC copy link... Oh, well. It was worth the purchase! Cinderella with a dragon shifter twist, it was one of the best revisions of the story I've read in quite a while. I hope this means the stories on the rest of the council will be coming out soon??? My only complaint was that I read it so quickly...Product details

But, this time with dragons... Well, so we are told.
There really wasn't much new with this retelling, some minor differences, but not much. The two biggest differences are in perspective, a minor plot twist, and the sex scene.
Normally I love Mina Carter's writing, but, you really have to do far more than this if you are going to retell a well known story and have me like it.
I loved the characters and wish the author had given us more time with them. You barely get to know them before you reach the epilogue. There was so much potential for seeing the growth of the relationship between them and her growth and development into a dragon that was skipped over with a “A month later” epilogue. I wanted better. Ms. Carter you did a disservice to your characters and to your readers. I will not bother with purchasing the rest of the series in case you failed the other characters as badly.
A new version of Cindarella. I really wanted to be present when Goranka got hers! Like Calan he recognized his mate. I like his protective nature. I really want to see what happens with Sawyer .
This was a cute very-fast-to-read story. This is the Cinderella tale told differently. This only took me 1 hour maybe 2 to read, it was that fast. If you want a fast read with a guaranteed HEA this is your book! I am investigating the next ones in the series to see if I will continue....I think because it was such a fast read it could have been fleshed out more if it were a longer book. That was I could have gotten a little more vested into the background of the world and the different races that are talked about.
I really wasn't too interested in reading Cinderella 2.0 but I started it and was hooked! The story retold Cinrella with a dragon twist. It presented a very believable tale of a super natural world. The evil stepmother completely removed Cinderella from the family and used her skills and talents to benefit herself. Cinderella could have been the poster child for Perils of Pauline. Altogether a very entertaining and enjoyable read. Highly recommend for light hearted quick read.
Calan was a royal duke to the white queen. He first met Saskia when she was there to show the queen some gowns. In her rags and chained to hide her dragon 🐉 who she was told was unstable. He felt something then, but when she shows up at the royal 👑 ball all dress in purple he has to have her. This is a cinderella tale but with dragons 🐉 which was pretty good. Has some twist to it that cinderella doesn't of course like sex lol..
What happens when the Dressmaker meets the Duke? Will it be insta-love? Will it be fire & brimstone? Or will it be business as usual?
Saskia Evan's is a paranormal with a damaged dragon inside her and an equally deranged step-family. Callan D'Anameyal is the Queens cousin and member of her Majestys elite guard. As fate (and Mina Carter) would have it these two are destined. But for that to eventuate they must first battle the evil dragoness and save the damsel from the horrifying troll.
